Just a suggestion (it worked for me)
Use KERMIT ROBUST mode. That works just about always!
Also, use the commands kermit -is [file] (for send binary mode), and kermit
-ir (for receive binary mode.)
Also, make sure your dialup connection is not converting speed. If your
port speed is 9600, make sure you connect @ 9600!
Hint - Replace "HyperTerminal" with Kermit95.
